| Program | Presented educational double-concert “What are the brass” focused on American music The educational concert of the chamber section of Moravia Brass Band popularizes the brass instruments among young listeners. The concert not only introduces basic brass instruments such as trumpet, French horn, trombone and tuba, but also shows the instruments in their natural environment. What that means is that it introduces children to the multi-genre possibilities of these interesting instruments through arrangements of classical music, film score, jazz and folk music. It also aims to cover the connections between Czech brass music and music from around the world, with a focus on American music. The concert is enhanced by percussion section and engagingly presented by Jiří Kokmotos. |
