Music-artistic workshop for Lednice primary school

Creative workshop connected by the musical theme under the guidance of artist Zdeňka Benešová for younger children of Lednice primary school (7th grade).

Number of children: 14

Under the guidance of artist Zdeňka Benešová, children will acquire skills in linocut technique and subsequent printing and painting on textiles (textile bag). The topic of the workshop is closely related to the programme of the 9th LVMF edition and focuses mainly on the motif of the star (stars on the EU flag) and the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. He composed a remarkable piece – Symphony no. 9 “Ode to Joy” which is part of the LVMF Final Gala programme. Part of the piece famously became an anthem of the EU. Thus, children will make their creative output while listening to the piece.

The result of the creative workshop will be a portrait painting and a textile bag with an original print in the form of a portrait of Ludwig van Beethoven, which will be decorated with stars.
