Music-artistic workshop for Valtice primary school

Creative workshop connected by the musical theme under the guidance of artist Veronika Remak for younger children of Valtice primary school (3rd grade).

Number of children: 14

Children will be introduced to the work of the most important personalities of the domestic art scene – Alfons Mucha. Veronika Remak shall select one of the techniques used by the master from his artistic period, in which he bravely incorporated many hidden symbols, such as the hand of Fatima, the lotus flower or the pink cross. Children will work on each symbol to learn the art technique while listening to the compositions of Mucha’s contemporaries Claude Debussy and Jean Sibelius.

The result of the creative workshop will be an acrylic painting inspired by Mucha’s work.
