Lecture: The Bauer Brothers: Diversity of Living Creatures

The Bauer brothers – Josef, Franz and Ferdinand – did not only illustrate the herbarium, which is now in the collections of the Principality of Liechtenstein and which is one of the central motifs of the 10th edition of the LVMF, but they travelled all over the world and their work has become the classics of scientific illustration, whether it is plants, animals or medical illustrations. It is their work and its diversity that will be the central theme of the lecture by botanist Hans-Walter Lack.
