Ensemble Opera Diversa

is an artistic ensemble that focuses on original music and theatre programmes. During more than twenty years of its activity, the ensemble has developed into a musical company that organizes around two dozen performances a year in its own production, mainly in its hometown of Brno. The uniqueness of the ensemble is partly due to its three-parts section – original musical theatre, orchestral or chamber concerts with original programming and concerts by the chamber choir Ensemble Versus. In addition, during the autumn of 2022, the Diversa Quartet, a string quartet dedicated primarily to domestic and international contemporary quartet music, was formed within the ensemble. Furthermore, the ensemble initiates or participates in the production of CDs or radio recordings. Through its artistic programming, the encouragement of new compositions and its interpretative commitment, the ensemble strives for a dialogue with the open-minded listener.
