The ballroom at Valtice Castle is one of the most important representative areas of this Baroque mansion. The interior of the hall is richly decorated with stucco and paintings that underline its historical significance. The walls are decorated with imitation marble with gilded musical instruments, giving the space an elegant atmosphere. The furniture dates from the Rococo period and the chandeliers are made of Bohemian crystal, adding to the overall refined impression. The ballroom is part of the castle’s touring circuit, which includes 15 rooms, including a marble lounge and a picture room. With its rich decoration and historic furniture, it is the ideal venue for small concerts, dance performances or social gatherings.
